The surgeon General spoke before a sub-committee where he talked about the obesity epidemic among our school age children and how we must become pro-active in finding ways to combat this kind of obesity. He said; much of this obesity comes from in-activity and our fast foods. He went on to state, Obesity is the leading cause of diabetics 2 as well as death. He said we must help families to plan better healthy diets for their children, and themselves too.
